Chloé F/W 16
Backstage at Chloé F/W 16, first looks revealed a collection inspired
by the journey and not the destination–even though the trip concluded
at a place seemingly inhabited by adventuring sophisticates. This
particular pretty ilk
of Chloé girl personified the worldly state of mind that threaded together a collection full of life, feminine bravado and, in the end, wearability wherever you are in the world. Models like Antonina Petkovic, Roos Abels, Dilone and Edie Campbell wore tan leathers, oversized ponchos, trim motorcycle jackets and ruffled gauzy tops. The beauty captured that brand of well-traveled lady who lives out of her bag. Hair was uncombed and untamed, while makeup felt on the go–black eyeliner for a little rakish appeal.
